Insulation Products Group
The Insulation Products Group began in Atlanta, GA in 1944 and serves as the Corporate Headquarters of TIGHITCO.
Aerostructures Division
The Aerostructures Division started as Ellcott Manufacturing in 1972, in Vernon, Connecticut. TIGHITCO, Inc acquired Ellcott Aerospace in 1997 which became TIGHITCO - Ellcott Division.
In 2007 TIGHITCO – Ellcott Division moved to Berlin, Connecticut and changed its name to TIGHITCO – Aerostructures Division.
TIGHITCO Latinoamerica
In order to meet customer needs for low cost and labor-intensive solutions TIGHITCO - Latinoamerica in San Luis Potosì, Mexico, was incorporated in 2001. This was started as a Greenfield operation and has been a fully functioning operation since.
Overhaul Support Services, at TIGHITCO Company
Overhaul Support Services began operations in East Granby, Connecticut in 1998. This facility was established in response to the need for overhaul and repair of dynamic components in rotorcraft. In 2008 TIGHITCO acquired OSS and kept the name Overhaul Support Services.
TIGHITCO-Chihuahua
TIGHITCO-Chihuahua was established in 2008 in response to customer desire to have
a low-cost sheet metal option. This is a fully functioning operation with
hydroform, heat treat and chemical processing capability.
