Fire Flex 2000
FireFlex 2000 Insulation
Blankets are designed to meet stringent FAA fire protection standards and have
proven to provide fireproof protection in harsh operating environments. Designed
specifically to be a flexible and removable fireproof system, FireFlex 2000
is ideally suited for flight critical applications. FireFlex 2000 blankets are
easily removed and replaced and are designed to provide a tight fit to complex

Design Considerations
Normal Operating Temperature
FireFlex 2000 blankets are designed for low normal operating temperature applications (below 500° F), but must meet the FAA 2000° F - 15 Minute Fire Test requirements. Note that they may also be designed for non-fireproof applications.
Thermal Performance
Based on your thermal profile requirements, we will evaluate and identify the material thickness and density required for each application.
Attachment Method
There are numerous methods available, and each application is evaluated for optimum attachment techniques.
